Golf in Nepal
We have 7 golf courses in Nepal in our golf course database.
Golf in Nepal is for the most elite, being the most expensive sport in the country. Currently there are five courses throughout the country, with many more in the midst of building. Golf was introduced to Nepal in the early 1800’s by the Scotland ministers. Since then, five courses have been built and maintained to original condition.
The best time to visit Nepal is between October and March. This is the driest season and the temperatures are moderate, perfect for a day on the greens.

Famous golf quotes
If you want to take long walks, take long walks. If you want to hit things with sticks, hit things with sticks. But there's no excuse for combining the two and putting the results on TV. Golf is not so much a sport as an insult to lawns.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
